About the Program
This course is tailored for those looking for post-trade engineering fabrication training, and centres around the task of planning and writing programs specifically for robotic welding operations. Throughout the course students will learn to plan and compose programs in alignment with the manufacturer’s operating procedures. They will utilise manufacturer-specific language and understand the functional parameters of the welding robot. The program emphasises the use of offline programming software for writing and proofing welding system programs. Student’s will gain proficiency in making necessary adjustments to programs, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
This program equips students with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in the field of robotic welding.
Outsource Institute will provide all necessary resources, personnel, and equipment for the successful delivery of the Skill Set.
The program will be attached to the following qualifications:
- MEM31922 Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication
- MEM40119 Certificate IV in Engineering – Welding
- MEM50119 Diploma of Engineering – Advanced Trade
Participants have the option to enroll into the full Qualification utilising the Queensland User Choice (UC) apprenticeship funding or Higher Level Skills (HLS) funding when enrolling into a full Qualification (subject to eligibility). Alternatively, Outsource Institute will issue a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for the units of competency completed.
