    An advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design can help you in your career in:

    Every applicant is assessed for eligibility individually to ensure fairness. To study for the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design, you will need to meet the following minimum criteria:

    • English requirements: IELTS- 6.0, TOEFL IBT 46-59, PTE 43-50
    • Completion of Year 12 or equivalent. Non-school leavers must have relevant work experience or qualification indicating likely success of the course.
    • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in engineering within the public works sector, including, but not limited to, roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines or structural components of buildings and railways.

    International students must meet our minimum requirements in English language to study at the Outsource Institute. To help students not yet eligible, we have partnered with the Union Institute of Language (UIL) and Navitas English to provide direct entry pathway packages into our Brisbane engineering programs.

    To achieve your Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design, you will need to complete five (5) core units of competency listed, and seven (7) elective units, completing a total of twelve (12) units. All elective units selected from outside of this qualification must reflect current occupational and learning outcomes of AQF qualification level.

    Total Cost: AUD$35,000*

    A $500 non-refundable enrolment application fee is required upfront, which will be contributed towards the total course cost. Tuition fees include AUD$750 of material fees and software. Students are also responsible for associated sundry expenses, including, but not limited to, stationery and other personal expenses during their studies. 

    International students may also require funding for:

    • Overseas Student Health Cover. 
    • Airport pick-up and drop-off. 

    Quotes can be provided in the International Student Contract if you wish for the Outsource Institute to organise on your behalf.
