My role as Director of Outsource Institute requires me to assist my executive leadership team (ELT) develop strategic plans and manage the supporting financial demands to ensure the strategic plans are achieved.
My role as the Managing Director, in charge of the Australasian Expansion for the RTO is to increase management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.
My role as the Marketing Director is translate the strategic vision of Outsource Institute into marketing strategies. Strategies are formulated for both our domestic and international divisions and include a focus on brand building, creative communications, digital marketing, social media and event management. In collaboration with the marketing team I deliver measurable results, fresh ideas and customer-centric solutions.
I am responsible for coordinating all financial activities for Outsource Institute & OIT Personnel. I supervise the Administrative staff to ensure maximum productivity. I am responsible for managing Human Resources (HR) functions, which involves overseeing onboarding & offboarding, providing support to all staff, whilst working together with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
As the National Training and Development Manager, I am both business and customer oriented, I have a strong focus on client learning outcomes and the growth of the RTO. I ensure my sales team is up to date with ever-changing technology and industry developments and that we analyse and approach each company and client on an individual basis to meet their personal and career advancement needs. Within my role I account manage our Industry Partners, Custom Fluidpower, SMC Corporation and Weld Australia on a national capacity and work closely with new and existing clients to conduct company evaluations and assist with their overall succession plan.
As the General Manager of Outsource Institute (AUS), my role involves overseeing the overall operations of the organisation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing staff, resources, and finances.
I have always enjoyed working within in the education/ training industry. I believe we are never too old to learn, training and knowledge is so powerful that it may change someone’s life within seconds. No position is unimportant within any organisation. Administrative work may sound boring and unimportant, but it’s the details that matter and keeps it in place. I’m a problem solver and love it when everything is organised and in place.
Qualified Trainer and Assessor with over 40 years’ experience in the engineering industry. My role involves the training and assessment of technical and mechanical engineering students, welding and boilermaking students and the facilitation of CRICOS classes.

I hold a Master’s degree in Technology in Turbo-machines with major subjects as Advanced Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics and gas dynamics, pumps and turbines design among other subjects. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. I have extensive experience in technical analysis of problems, theory and application, equipment design, manufacture and testing, teaching, training and mentoring, project engineering in areas of mineral processing, oil and gas, petrochemicals, coal washing and preparation, power plants and various other industries. At Outsource Institute I am currently facilitating & assessing training in Fluid Power along with the Diploma & Advanced Diploma of Engineering.
After more than a decade as a boilermaker, I found myself spending more time managing projects and liaising with clients than I did on the tools, and decided to make the transition from tradie to business development. I have always enjoyed mentoring staff and helping match skill sets to projects, so moving to a training and development role was a natural fit. I pride myself on being professional but approachable and working with clients to find the best development pathway to build their skills and meet their goals.
As the Project Officer, I am responsible for ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are carried out efficiently and effectively within the Operations and Compliance Team. As part of my role, I ensure compliance is met in all Outsource Institute’s student documentation, training resources and materials. I coordinate the ordering and management of all training resources as well as the tracking of all incoming and outgoing assessments and correspondence. As an integral part of the Operations & Compliance Team I am responsible for the training of new office administrators, student management and customer service, including, administering online and student portal access to the Learning Management System (LMS) and managing all staff travel requirements with Flight Centre Business Travel. I am also responsible for coordinating the local and interstate training schedule for Hydraulics and Pneumatics training at our partners Custom Fluidpower and SMC Corporation.
Troy has been in industry since 2003. He began his trade Apprenticeship in 2004 and finished it with Queensland Rail. Once trade qualified, he stayed employed with QLD Rail for 6 years, working in the workshop and working on the rolling stock. Troy moved on from QLD Rail gaining further experience operating, programming and maintaining CNC machinery.
With a proven track record of providing high-quality education to mixed-ability classes, Indhiran has developed the ability to create programs for advanced learners and modified programs for those who require additional support. By utilizing technology in the classroom, he has successfully motivated and engaged students in their learning, leading to improved academic performance. Committed to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment, he offers constructive feedback and encouragement to all students, recognizing and addressing individual differences and socioeconomic backgrounds.
